Fire Guard Test uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. None are used for advertising. Analytics only run if you accept them.
What we use
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| fgt_session | Cookie, 30 days | Essential | Keeps you signed in (httpOnly, set only after you sign in or buy). |
| cookie_consent | Local storage | Essential | Remembers your analytics choice. |
| fgt_demo_session_id | Local storage | Essential | Random ID that counts free sample quizzes started and finished, without identifying you. |
| ref_code | Cookie, 30 days | Functional | Remembers a referral link you followed, to credit the referrer. |
| r999_visitor_id | Local storage | Analytics | Random ID for anonymous page-view analytics. Only used if you accept analytics. |
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies or cross-site tracking. When you pay, Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies for fraud prevention, under Stripe's policy.
Managing cookies
